Disposal Information
For 3% hydrogen peroxide, it’s generally safe to flush small amounts down the drain, but always check local regulations to ensure proper disposal.
For higher concentrations like our 34.5% hydrogen peroxide, proper dilution is essential before disposal. We recommend diluting it to 3% in a large plastic bucket before flushing.
For businesses handling large quantities, additional steps may be needed. Hydrogen peroxide naturally breaks down into water and oxygen, but you can speed this up by using neutralizing agents like sodium sulfite or sodium metabisulfite. Once neutralized, it’s safe for disposal according to local guidelines.
Always verify local environmental rules, and feel free to contact us for any disposal guidance.
